Built by volunteers. To empower the youth.

UNASEO grew out of a simple instinct among Ugandans living in North America: go back to the schools and communities that raised you, and give the next generation what you needed. That “giving back” narrative still drives every program — alumni returning to their own schools with equipment, coaching and encouragement.

Today UNASEO is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) public charity based in Normal, Alabama, and is also registered in Uganda as an organization limited by guarantee. The organization is run entirely by a volunteer management team supported by many volunteers who donate time, money and resources.

Our work pairs sport with schooling on purpose. Talent alone rarely carries a young person all the way; talent plus education, mentorship and character does.
